How to Access Food
If you find yourself in need of assistance, we're here for you.
What To Bring With You
Please bring the following with you when you register:
Photo ID with proof of address for yourself and all family members. If you’re photo ID doesn’t have an address, a recent utility or phone bill showing your address works fine. The only requirement to use the food bank is that you reside within our catchment area.
What To Expect:
Registering to use the food bank is quite simple and takes about 15 minutes, we will ask you some household questions like your address, phone number and the number of people who live with you as well as some questions to get to know you better such as the type of food you eat and dietary restrictions.
While we do record name, address etc. data is anonymized when it leaves us for statistics. Every volunteer has signed a confidentiality agreement and is there to assist you.
What Happens Next?
Once registered, you can visit the food bank twice a month and we have a ‘shopping’ model, you can pick exactly what you need. We have a variety of fresh produce, perishable food items such as bread, milk, eggs as well as non-perishable.
We also offer menstrual products, pet food and when we have it other hygiene items.
Client Shopping Hours:
Wednesday: 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Thursday: 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Closed: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
